Could you please let me know whether libgpg-error-1.21 is really required for
rsyslog. I started building libgcrypt which was required for rsyslog and
noticed following error.
checking for arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-gpg-error-config... no
checking for gpg-error-config... no
checking for GPG Error - version >= 1.11... no
configure: error: libgpg-error is needed.

Hi,
check your toolchain. Looks like you are mixing a newer compiler (requiring
--m64 instead of just --64) with an old "as" version or mixing your normal
toolchain with arm toolchain.
