Just a quick comment - Rsyslog does not delete the last disk-assist spool file 
even after processing the logs it contained; this is normal. See 
http://blog.gerhards.net/2013/07/rsyslog-why-disk-assisted-queues-keep.html for 
details.

So if this is what you're seeing, no need to worry!
