what I do is create rulesets for all remote messages, then for local messages I
have the default ruleset send the logs out (either to a relay box on the
network, or to my own network address, not loopback)
That way they then show up as remote messages with all proper naming
I make a separate queue for impstats data so that if there is queue congestion,
the stats still get through.
