Are you using a proxy server? If so, try removing the proxy settings temporarily (assuming you can) and see if the problem persists. I (like many others) had this problem also and searches of the archives all seemed to indicate a cookies problem. I had the browser configured to accept cookies from the sites that I allowed but it still didn't work. I later found that I was using a proxy server (privoxy, a.k.a. Internet Junk Buster) that was passing the cookies to me but not back to the site or something like that.
