I changed it to 0, stopped apache, emptied the mason cache, restarted
apache and it just worked.

following in etc/RT_SiteConfig.pm, but without any luck.

Set($OldestTransactionFirst, 1);
Set($OldestTransactionFirst, undef);
Any ideas?
