Horst; You can also see the sql generated from QueryBuilder by setting the DBIx log in your RT_SiteConfig: #DBIx-SearchBuilder 1.31_1 or higher; simply set C<$StatementLog> to be #the level that you wish SQL statements to be logged at. Set($StatementLog,'debug');

Maybe you are hitting a resource limit when the request goes through the web server. Try checking the system and web server logs to see if there is any more information.
