False alarm! Sorry about that. I've been frantically writing up documentation for the end users and didn't have a chance to look at what they were doing. For the first round of testing to be sure they understood the system, they were leaving their OWN email address as the Requestor. Therefore, of course the client couldn't respond in. That will change on Monday though when they do it with the clients email address. Thanks!
