*Java/Spring/Microservices Developer*
*Richmond/McLean, VA*
*Responsibilities:*
· Develop and maintain applications including APIs and batch
processes utilizing AWS services and either Java or Go technology stack.
· Developing REST service using Spring, Flask, Boot.
· Provide production support for the applications owned by the
team.
· Write unit and acceptance tests. Work with product owners to
understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
· Continuously improve software engineering practices.
· Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test,
implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of
development tools and technologies.
*Required qualifications:*
· At least 4 years of software development experience.
· At least 2 years of recent experience in Java.
· At least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing
database systems, strong SQL skills.
· Experience with AWS cloud technologies, preferably some of the
following: EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, RDS. Experience with Agile
development process.
· Experience writing unit tests.
*Preferred qualifications: *
· Experience with big data solutions.
· Experience with one of the following: Python, Go.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
