I have multiple requirements with our client Please find the below requirements *No OPT’s, student visa and Transfers* *Need H1B, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAd and Citizen* *Position1:* Sr. Data Engineer Location: remote during covid then relocate to either New York, New Jersey, Florida, Chicago, IL, California. Contract: 6-12 months to perm (they might convert them after a year) *Need strong experience in Airflow don’t send resumes with out strong Airflow experience* Must have: Airflow, Python, AWS, and SQL, 70 percent is support/monitoring, 30 percent development Sr. Data Engineer must have a broad and deep data skillset as well as strong analytical capabilities . In addition to being a hands on individual contributor, the ideal candidate is a productive team player and a mentor to Junior Data Engineers. Additionally, we are looking for strong technical experts. - Actively participate in team technical discussions in all things data - Identify and address issues with data sets from multiple vendors - Identify and address code and data quality issues - Actively participate in code reviews and grooming sessions - Actively participate in technology architecture discussions for product development - Translate business requirements into strategy - Advocate for software best practices within your team as well as across engineering - Be ultra-responsive and capable of making instant decisions, always kicking the ball forward - Work on unique and interesting data challenges around architecting, building and managing pipelines that securely process hundreds of terabytes of data - Work closely with analysts and statisticians to ensure the validity of our processes Our engineers are expected to wear a number of hats and have the opportunity to touch all parts of the stack. Our stack includes Apache Spark, Scala, Redshift and an ever-growing list of many other cool technologies. *Requirements* - Airflow - Experience wrangling terabytes of big, complicated, imperfect data - Experience with AWS products (Redshift, EMR, S3, IAM, RDS, etc) - You have a deep understanding of scalable systems and you have large-scale engineering experience in an Agile development environment - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or 4 additional years of relevant work experience) - A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and effective software design - Significant development experience with a major modern language (e.g. Java, Scala, Python, Ruby, C/C++, etc.) - Significant experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale and comfort with a variety of different stores (key-value, document, columnar, etc.) as well as traditional RDBMSes and data warehouses - Experience with or interest in AWS Glue, Redshift Spectrum and any other tools that enable data querying at scale - Experience writing unit, functional and integration tests - Comfort with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work well in an agile, collaborative team environment *Position2:* *Role:* Sr. Java Developer *(Need IVR OR Avaya OR Airlines experience don’t send resumes with out that any of them)* *Location:* Remote / Dallas, TX *Duration:* 1 year open-ended Contract *No OPT’s, student visa and Transfers* *Need H1B, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAd and Citizen* *Project Details:* This team builds multiple IVR applications on the Avaya Cloud platform. These IVRs will connect to backend data sources using restful web services pulling information such as airline rewards information and flight status. Replacing multiple business units for Aspect, Avaya and Edify/Avaya and moving to a new cloud solution – will take at least 22 months to get 14 business units on the platform Have a partner doing the IVR development work, looking to bring on Sr. level Java Developers to work on the backend systems (any IVR experience is a huge plus) *Must Have:* - Java 8 - Spring - Restful Web Services Development - Basic Tomcat Server experience (client already has a middleware team doing configuring) - CI/CD o Git/Bitbucket (client is moving to GitLab for source control) o Jenkins o Gradle (to build scripts, nice to have) - Basic Linux experience - Basic web security via security certificate - Strong problem solving - Comfortable working with Legacy, older Java applications (native Java applications, GUI) *Nice to Have:* - Microservices - Any cloud experience - IVR development o Experience with Avaya (preferred), Aspect or Cisco Contact Center technology o CCXML or VXML - Airline experience *Role3:* Sr. Java Developer (Backend) *(Must need 10+ years of experience don’t send resume with out 10+ years)* *Location:* Remote / Dallas, TX / Bentonville, AR *Duration:* 6 month open-ended Contract (no contract maximum) *No OPT’s, student visa and Transfers* *Need H1B, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAd and Citizen* *Project Scope / Components:* Building a future state transportation platform called Stride. One of the initial objectives is to build the rail app onto the platform. They outsource the management to third party companies like JB Hunt. The platform will support future inbound apps so this is a much longer term initiative for them. *Development Methodology:* Agile – 2 weeks *High-Level Individual Duties:* Next 4-5 months is building the platform (BEs build services, FE builds the UI in collaboration with the California UX Team. There is also an Infra team in India, but these Engineers will play a hand in the DevOps / CI-CD model) *Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):* - 10+ years of Java development experience (looking for good thought process and problem solving) - Spring Boot / Microservices Design - Any NoSQL experience (Azure – Cosmos experience is highly preferred) - Any Middleware experience (Azure Paas / Cosmos is preferred (client has 10-12 major modules being built, maybe 2-3 in process now)) - Scalability, Resiliency, is really important - Made some changes to the QE teams where they have full ownership of apps / services E2E - DevOps experience o Jenkins o Git o Any cloud experience (client uses WCNP which is their cloud native platform, AWS is a plus) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
