How 'bout this: !. Coach's Poll 2. AP Poll 3. Fan Poll
All 3 top 25 are equal in weight. #25 gets 1 point and #1 gets 25 points. The point totals from all 3 polls are added up each week to determine the final place in a ranking system. Sounds fair to me and would also include the fans. Sure the fans could try to find ways to cheat the polls but technology could twart that. maybe the fan polls could be 1000 fans randomly picked from applications each year or even each week and who send in their ballots via internet with special codes to assure authenticity. Imagine sending in your application each summer and hoping you are picked to vote for the top 25 in week 6. Would that not be the biggest rush? OK.
