Just make sure all D-1 coarch's get a vote. The AP poll is more like a popularity contest. If you're a coarch that doesn't cater to the media, you're automatically behind the eight-ball. Bobby Bowden kisses media ass for this very reason. A Fan poll? For the love of all that is good! Fans don't know jack! If you don't believe me, take a look at the 2001 Major League Baseball All-Star team. Hell, look at the last 10 All-Star line-ups for that matter. The fans determine who the starters are. And that's why guys who spend most of the first half of the season on the DL wind up as starters in the All-Star game. The only 'true' All-Stars are the players picked by the manager (coarch) of the respective leagues. Like I said, fans don't know jack. Roll Tide!!
