Joe: The 5,300 lb. behemoth is in the Rotunda in the Alabama Supreme Court building. When all of this began, Justice Moore was given the option to have the monument moved to a "non-public" location, but that did not suit his agenda.
I know the media is saying that the high court will probably not impose the 5K per day sanctions on Moore, but if it does, consider this... The Court system of Alabama is in desperate need of money. Dockets have been limited, the Clerk of Court staff has taken a big hit across the state because Justice Moore wants to stomp his feet, thump the bible, and be the talk of national news, the court system could be hit with fines they cannot afford to pay. Again...another black eye on the State of Alabama. Oh well...ROLL TIDE!
