When Shula got the HC job, his *mentor* on how to handle operations was Joe Kines. Granted, Oliver ran a good D, but his ship has long been sunk. Even with a new AD, sunk. If Kines goes anywhere soon, it'll be to an *office* position.
You like the way Shula is handling the HC job...consider who his advisor is. It's not his Dad, it's not CMM... Now, I don't like the fashion in which a few things broke down last year...but, the thought/notion it falls on Kines shoulders? Ain't so. In fact, a lot of it falls on DuBose/fRan and the type of players they brought in.
