I was working in Gadsden this week. We were supposed to leave on Friday, but
we figured the hurricane would be getting there by tonight so we busted ass
to finish up by this morning and hit the road at 11:00 am. Some were
supposed to fly out of B'ham, they change to Nashville and drove up there.
Two people were driving back to Atlanta and I was driving back to Florida
through Atlanta. I got to Heflin and said "SCREW THIS!" Pull over and
checked into the HoJo. It's a nasty, nasty hotel, but it's dry and I ain't
driving. I was getting blown off the road, and not in the good way.
I've got electricity, TV, and I'm 6 beers deep into a 12 beer buzz.
