As best I can tell, Zahed has token from last set of text Xiao Min proposed.

It's worth repeated (again, and again...) that this mechanism has been not only 
shipping but has existed in commodity vendor silicon for some time.  IMNSHO, 
Zahed's concerns are inappropriate.  If this profile of BFD uses an overly 
aggressive form of timers and generates too many packets, it will take itself 
out of service.  That's what BFD does.

In the absence of this BFD protocol machinery, we devolve to the "ping as hard 
as you can" that people reinvent repeatedly.  If anything, this profile of BFD 
significantly improves that landscape.
