Following is my RTI application SUMMARY. If you read the remarks carefully then you will come to know how Public Authorities are making a mockery of the Right to Information Act and is bent on denying information to the people. Classic examples of Pillar to Post in writing. Passing the buck to other department. Absolute delay in acknowledging the applications. Forget controlling corruption thru RTI, they are not even providing basic information. Because of heavy pendencies these people have become very smart. I strongly feel we should work together more on implementation of SECTION 4 of Right to Information Act, 2005. Your views are welcome. RTI summary by Sanjay Shirodkar, Pune. Making 1st Appeal on 02.01.2008 Airports Authority of India, Western Region, BOM 17 November 2007 Basic questions regarding Parking norms and exemptions at CSIA & MIAL 26.11.2007 from AAI, BOM Forwarded to AAI HQ, New Delhi & denied information regarding MIAL saying it's a private party. Emailed DIAL citation to CSIA & MIAL. Till 31.12.2007 no reply. CSIA = Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. MIAL - Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd. 11.11.2007 from AAI, HQ, New Delhi AAI HQ, New Delhi acknowledged forwarded application. Till 31.12.2007 no reply from AAI HQ, New Delhi. 06.12.2007 from AAI, BOM AAI, BOM sent reminder to AAI, HQ, New Delhi to provide information asap. Till 31.12.2007 no reply from AAI HQ, New Delhi. Board of Control for Cricket in India, Mumbai 19 November 2007. IT return details of BCCI from 2002-2007. Till 31.12.2007 no reply, not even acknowledgement from BCCI or India Post. Making complaint to MIC on 02.01.2008 under section 18. Ministry of Civil Aviation, New Delhi 26 November 2007 Basic questions regarding Parking norms and exemptions at CSIA. 08.12.2007 from Ministry of Civil Aviation, New Delhi Ministry of Civil Aviation replied saying no account as CPIO & matter belongs to Airports Authority of INDIA. Sent back my original application with IPO. Instead of forwarding application u/s section 6(3) to AAI, they sent back my application with IPO. Made a complaint to CIC under section 18. Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Mumbai 06 December 2007 Asked for MOA - Memorandum of Association of MIAL - Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd. 18.12.2007 from Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Mumbai Acknowledged my application and forwarded to Registrar of Companies for further action. Sent DIAL citation. No further answer till 31.12.2007. On MIAL letterhead no name mentioned of Authorised Signatory. No email id. No extension no of Authorised Signatory has been mentioned.
