If the information is invaluable in the interest of
public, there is no harm in making the payment of
Rs.2660/- and gaining the information.

Subsequently, you can go in for a 1st Appeal where you
can voice your protests etc. You can also ask for the
refund for the extra amount paid for, by you.

We had several such cases, we normally pay the fees
and accessed / obtained the information and let it lie
there as the information was more valuable for us.
Only in cases where we felt the PIO was cheating on
us, we filed the Complain /s 18 with the CIC.
