Dear Bimal-ji

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I suspect that due to this
conversation 3 members left our group. So there is a cost to be paid
for truth.

Let me make it crystal clear - the name of this group is "RTI_India".
"India" is as important as RTI to us. If this is a temple it is also
a church or mosque. IF we consider ourselves to be "Indian" THEN we
are necessarily secular patriotic citizens ELSE (?). This does not
equate with what is called RSS fascism or "modern Hindutva of
Savarkar". I can easily quote / cite Holy Quran or Bible to bring out
the same principles of Bhagvad Gita (which incidentally my own
religion does not allow me to accept as authentic scripture but
commands me to respect as I am also commanded to respect Bible, Quran,
Veda, Granth Sahib etc.). Perhaps members more knowledgeable than me
can contribute these first. If the membership dwindles further it is
divine will.

For our purposes there is one aspect of yesterday's discussion I did
not bring out then. Lord Krishna tells Arjun "Causing Oppression is a
Sin, BUT *Tolerating* oppression is a graver sin". IMHO there is no
religion in the world which propounds *always* turning the other cheek.

Any member of this group with Yahoo ID can contact me or any other
contributing member. The way to do this is to login at Yahoo and
"Reply" (either online or by email) to that member's message taking
due care that the "To" field is only to the concerned member and not
the group. It is also polite to indicate in the Subject line that the
message is "DIRECT" or "OFFLIST".

the URL of this group is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rti_india/

Finally, It is good that you are "friend of friends", BUT to use RTI
properly we must also be "enemy of enemies".
