JD(u) Member Nadagowda Said ,submitting the information on allotment of alternative sites availed through RIGHT TO Information (RTI Act) by one shivkumar. Nadagowda said that one family was allotted about 80 alternative sites, one person had been alloted alternative site though he was not allotted any site earlier by the BDA. In another case, a commercial site had been alloted as alternative site to a residential site, Nadagowda Demanded a probe by house committee The State Government on monday Decided to conduct a time bound enquiry into alleged irrgularities by Bangalore Development authority other blatant irregularities are Cornor sites divided and allotted to many persons Sites in posh Localities (usally Auctioned) in lieu of of ones in far off places after allegedly taking bribes All allotments of alternative sites from 2003 will be looked into by a special taskforce and vigilance cell of BDA.
