A have been fighting the biggest co-op society of Mumbai
Before the Dy.Registar of co-op societies since January 2005
As a member I have a right to know the working of the society
I had also brought it to the notice of Dy.Registar of serious
violation Of the MCS act done by the society, even making a mockery
of the MCS .
I had under sec 32 of the MCS act asked for certain documents
Such as copies of the managing committee resolutions etc
The said society did not give me the said documents,
I moved the dy.registar regarding this and all the Dy registar
Did was to send letters to the society to give me the said documents
The Dy Rgs in sept 2005 even by an order send to the society to
give me the Said documents, still they disobeyed the Dy.Registars
orders, I asked for the documents and progress report of my
complains under RTI,the said registar just wrote to the society to
provide me the documents progress report was not given, I moved Dist
Dy Regisrar, inder annex B of RTI the who passed orders to the dy
reg to ask the society to give me the documents
my 12 RTI Annex C applications are pending for almost over a year
now before SIC.
the Dy.Reg had 2 inspections of the society in sept 2005 and 2007
who found discrepencies in their working, the Dy Registar kept
dragging his feet on the issue
at one time he told me that the society has treatened him through
Minister Baba siddique
he gave 5 hearings to the society, society did not attend even one
and he said he will pass ex parte order he did not do so and got
transferred, now new registar Dr.V.S.Phad
send notice for one more hearing but still the society did not
attend, he then send them a show cause notice for removal of the
committee and appointing of administrator
on receiving this notice the said society send a Notice of motion to
be passed
by the general body at AGM to be held on 10.08.2008 this notice of
motion is for my explusion stating that I have been making false,
feverous, complains, and misusing the RTI act to damage the image of
the society.this notice of motion was send to members well in
advance and official send to me on 06.10.08 just 4 days before the
AGM I would like some learned members to please advise me as to
what steps I should take.or do as time is too short.
