Is there any one SIC in the country,[leave alone metro(s)] that has heard only
116 Hearings in last 3 Years, like WBIC?
Is there any one SIC in the country,[leave alone metro(s)] that has penalised
only 6 SPIOs & awarded 2 Compensations in last 3 years, like WBIC?
Is there any one SIC in the country,[leave alone metro(s)] that conducts a
Close Door Hearing & not an Open Court, like WBIC?
NOW COMPARE THESE:
For the Financial Year 2007-2008 total spent amount by WBIC, Rs.71,54000.00
For the Financial Year 2007-2008 number of hearings conducted 67, i.e. @ 6
hearings a month
COST OF EACH HEARING COMES TO A WHOOPING: Rs. 1,06,776.00
Albeit, spending so much Public Money, most of the Orders/Decisions are
blatantly against the COMMON PUBLIC & against the letter & spirit of the RTI
