Greetings from West Bengal RTI Manch and Maulana Shaukat Ali Foundation.
To observe the International Human Rights Day on 13th December 2008, West
Bengal RTI Manch and Maulana Shaukat Ali Foundation is organizing an Awareness
Camp on the Right to Information Act 2005 at the Jakaria Street and Sudam Sil
Street Crossing (Near Nakhoda Mosque). The proposed RTI Camp intends to
highlight/address the issues of the local Minority Community, including the
prevailing dismal state of health, sanitation, child-education, child-labour
etc. in the vicinity.
We hope you will appreciate that this should be one of our pivotal concerns for
our fellow citizens to empower them to KNOW THEIR RIGHTS and we in West Bengal
RTI Manch believe that Right to Know is Right to Life. But we hope you will
also appreciate that it would not be a cakewalk too, to achieve our desired
goal without your benign patronage.
So on behalf of the West Bengal RTI Manch and Maulana Shaukat Ali Foundation we
would like to most humbly request you to kindly participate in the proposed
Awareness Camp on the Right to Information Act 2005 on 10th December 2008,
