I have filed 5 appeals against a PIO,
the PIO did not respond, filed 1st appeal who ordered the PIO to give me the
said information on all 5 applications , the PIO ignored his orders filed 2nd
appeal SIC mumbai after a wait of nearly 18 months i repeat 18 months I got the
hearings 5 hearings all of which
the SIC did not impose penality on the PIO for not providing the information
within the time frame of RTI act, the SIC passed orders that the PIO should
make available the said documents withen 30 days , 60 days passed the PIO is
adamant, does not give me the said documents, complained to SIC in writing that
PIO has not complied with his orders and to apply his suo moto powers and take
action against the PIO, upto date no reply, if the order goes against the
citizen the citizen has to file writ petition challenging the orders of SIC but
when with Govt officials they do not file writ petitions against SIC and the
tamasha goes on
could any one who say the RTI is powerful and with great tooth/teeth give me a
solution to my problem, i have been in the RTI field since 2003.
what should i do next your response will be highly appreciated.
