And which is precisely why (as per media reports in leading
newspapers) a SC judge was allegedly present in his capacity as
"observer" while the assets were being transferred. <ho-ho>.

If there is anyone left in this group who believes in the honesty /
integrity of the superior judiciary (or the information
commissioners), please speak up now or hold your case forever.

My own working rule, never believe anyone who has accepted a single
naye paise from the government. Even the so-called great transparency
'neta' Jaiprakash Narayan (former babu) is now found to be embroiled
in the Satyam scam in supplying ambulances to State governments. We
are expected to believe that this person who was secretary to Governor
and also CM of A.P. (one of India's most corrupt states) is a saint.
All these ex-babu "saints" and "sadhvis" are packed into the National
Advisory Council. We now also have the disgraceful example of people
campaigning for some Arun Bhatia (another babu) in Pune. Are these the
people who will lecture us on RTI and transparency ?
