By short-stay, we mean 1 to 3 days (24 hours) without any timing
restrictions. We will do it as soon as we can afford a capital investment of
Rs.40,000 and recurring monthly expense of Rs.12,000.

I am aware of the problem. Just last week, I reached Jaipur at 6 am and
spent Rs.500 to use a hotel room for 90 minutes.

Regards

Rakesh

Dear Rakeshji

Short term stay for hearing is excellent idea for
interaction, cooperation among RTI activists in hearings.Nominal
amount can be paid for it by appellents for great relief after 10-15
hours long journey (and avoiding costly hotels).

I think most critical time in Delhi for outside appellents(within
500-700kms from Delhi) is morning from 5-10 am only needing urgent
help as for only 5 hours, hiring hotel room for Rs. 400-1000(or
more) is not feasible.

For more than 700-800Kms appellents, other arrangement can be
thought of .

Your arrangement for only 5 hours will solve 80% problem of outside
visiters.

With Regards
