Freinds , As RTI activists , it is our basic concern that the PIO has to take an independent decesion whether to Provide information to Citizens are not . In the instant case the PIO has unwarrentedly called an Emergency meeting of the Panchyat -- to serve what purpose ? It is only to Subservice certain of his Animosity against the citizen , to conceal his wrongs carried out by concealing them with the Members . Hence though Information is Provided this matter has to be viewed with all gravity since PIOs may start resrting such an Excersise to Defeat the Purpose of RTI wherver they have Elected Bodies, Boards , Councils etc etc
