Hi There are many such movements and NGOs.
It is my experience (and perhaps my bias shows) 1) NGOS are riding on the RTI / Legal Aid bandwagons to perpetuate their existence. Their members / office bearers are brainwashed / deluded that the world revolves around their existence. 2) NGOs *DEPRIVE* citizens from direct access to government / legal aid / RTI by occupying the space meant for individual citizens. 3) Government *PREFERS* to deal with NGOs because they know that almost all NGOs are corrupt, malleable and begging to be allowed into a parasitic relation with Govt. This cozy nexus BREEDS corruption. Sarbajit PS: The Govt has many Legal Aid schemes at all levels (We have Legal Aid legislations in place).
