Vikram ji, Would like to point out that as per section 7 (e) of the Maharashtra Preservation of Trees Act 1975, trees coming in the way of road widening ( & which may cause danger to life & property )need to be transplanted( & cannot be cut). You may pl. check the Karnataka tree act.
