freinds , Today RTI activists from several Parts of Bangalore and also negihbouring Districts protested In Front of Bangalore Metro Rail corporation Ltd , Towards Their Attitude , Sheer Inaction and filibustring Tactics of Refusing Information Quoteing One After another Different Clauses inapplicable Refusals Etc., They were also Protesting against the violation of RTI Act By BMRCL even after 4 years by Stipulating Thier Own Format and Informing Citizens that Only Information which is Not website will be Provided and Suomoto Declarations Cannot be provided in hard Or soft copies They were also Protesting in Support of MR P R Ramesh an Ex Mayor of bangalore Mahanagara palike who Was Refused Information under sec 8.1.d after allowing him Inspection of File and asking him to remit Rs 2100/- Towards further Fees . Nearly 120 activists , concerned Citizens Participated in this Protest . Since the Managing Director was inassible They Presented a Memorandum to MR Chavan PRO of BMRCL and Called him rectify their Suomoto Declarations and attitudes The protest Which was led By Vikramsimha , veeresh , Viswaraj , Bhaskar , Babu ,Prakash Goverdhan , Kiran and alsp PR Ramesh stated they were Not Against the Metro Project but against the Attitude Towards RTI Requests .
