The Delhi High Court has reserved it's long awaited decision on whether Societies are covered under RTI Act as P/As. The matter arose in context of CIC's order on Sanskriti School. A critical issue before Justice Ravindra Bhat was whether "an order or notification by appropriate Govt is required to establish or constitute a non-governmental organisation (NGO)". Watch out for this one, CIC seems to have bungled its case by fielding Prof K K Nigam to argue.
