Indeed a historic Judgement whereby the High Court sets aside the meagre penalty of Rs 5000 awarded by the CIC and rather imposes the high penalty of Rs 55,000 . It is another matter that this is not enough to shake upo the mandarins at the Passport Offices or those sitting in the ivory towera of South Block .
Grateful thanks to Sunil as my efforts to download the Judgement via links provided earlier failed .
