Information received by Infn Commissioners ( through emails from Citizens )
is in fiduciary nature . Sometimes it may be very sensitive also.
Also e mails received by you from Citizens & action taken by Infn Comners
(in response to said e mails ) are part of official documents , i.e comes
under RTI. Also after ICs retirement, emails received by ICs should also
be available to successors. Also on the question of Life & Liberty of a
person, having an email id by all ICs would be very useful.
Hence there is an urgent need to have safety precautions & also to have e mail
id
Following are the e mail ids displayed on Infn Comners web sites, most
probably having server outside India..

National Informatics Centre ( Govt Of India, undertaking) vide letter no 8)4)/
2008- RTI dated 16.9.2009 in response to my RTI Application have informed me
that e mail id having its base outside India, there is a possibility of
leakage of information.

In the light of above information, one may demand from Infn Comners to have e
mail ids preferably with NIC
