Dear Suresh, I am so happy that you want to ensure that RTI Act stays strong and empowers ordinary citizens .. blah blah..
But How do you know that GoI wants to amend the Act and do all the things you claim they are planning to do? Can you provide us a single official document to justify this? If you can, I assure that this group's powerful resources will be behind you. BTW - I hope you know that the official submission of this group under a statutory filing to the State (as defined in Art 12) has demanded that vexatious/frivolous applicants be strongly discouraged, and that file notings should be excluded from ambit of RTI Act, etc.?
