Fees chargable as per verbal conversation with SIC Suresh Joshi, for authentacated true copy stamped ( document given under RTI act ) Rs 2 for A4 size page, for certified true copy as per what department prescribes, so one has to be precise when asking for documents, however many departments charge not as per RTI act but as per normal norms, building proposal department charges Rs 27 (Rs 2 for xerox charges and Rs 25 for putting thier stamp for A4 size) and Rs 50 for xerox copy of plan and Rs 60 for certifying same total Rs 110, i have seen somone shelling more than 8000 rs an exorbodent cost for information requested, Collectors office same thing. Assesment department Rs 230 per year. I had brought it to the notice of Dr Suresh Joshi in person and asked him to make a public announcment in press as its difficult for him to address every department, but almost a year now. This has not happened, and the Loot goes on. unabaited.
