"DECISIONS & REASONS:
26. Under the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993, `human rights' have been
defined to mean and include the rights relating to life, liberty, equality and
dignity of the individual guaranteed by the Constitution or embodied in the
International Covenant enforceable by courts in India."

Denial of equality in service and promotion, which demeans the individual and
affects his life(style) may arguably be ALLEGED to be violation of human
rights. There are also so many UN Conventions / Covenants which India has
acceded to concerning service employment matters.
