I am running the 2.0.32 kernel on the Elan SC400. The only problem I had
was during the install phase. I could not get the redhat 5.0 distribution
to install on the Elan system. Something in the redhat boot disk would
cause the system to reboot. When I moved the hard drive to another system
and installed it there, then moved the drive back the Elan system it boots OK.
The other problem I am having is related to the PCMCIA support. I can get
Linux to see both PCMCIA slots but only the first slot will detect a card.
I have no clue on this one but I am really new to Linux so I suspect that I
am still not doing something right.
