I am actually using rdate to get the time from an time server, running it
hourly, since the hardware clock is off horribly within a few hours.

It seems working fine, I never noticed any strange things happening, even when
several RT-Linux tasks where running ( 100Hz, 1 kHz, ... ).
This mail just makes me wondering whether it is a good idea to set the clock
while running RTL tasks ?
