Hi,

Is there a problem using rt-linux periodic funcions with xntpd running ?
Let me explain the scenario:

1. Assume the PC clock is set so that it is exactly one second behind UTC

2. Start a rt periodic task to pulse an I/O port bit high ever 10 seconds
on a 10 second boundary (i.e. at 0,10,20,30,40,50 seconds past the
minute )
    - remember the PC clock is 1 second out

3. xntpd starts and migrates the PC clock to sync. to UTC

Will the period of the periodic task migrate also so that it now pulses on
a UTC 10 second boundary, or is the periodicity of the task asynchronos to
the PC clock once the periodic task start ?
