Greetings,
I have carefully installed the va variant of 2.0.36 and RTLinux on my
treasured NEC 6000 Laptop.
I plan on using this at the LinuxWorldExpo RTL BOF session.

I carefully picked over the patch to 2.0.36 from VA Research and thought
I saw no conflicts.

The system is stable and running but I have two problems.
The Bogomips now report as over 300 for a 233 Mhz System this is a bit
much
The Speaker is now just a squeaker.

This is ok since I have a problem with xemacs and a bitmap that causes
xemacs to beep at me
the system now just squeeks instead.

Any clues from the experts ??? this may be a simple platform problem.

I don't have time to revert back to a pure 2.0.36 I will pick the diff
file apart for the VA patches.

Thanks
   Phil Wilshire
