Hi all

I've discovered strange problem.
For a few week I've been searching for the bug in my rt-driver.
Which caused really weird problems.

And I've found out the problem is with syslogd/klogd daemons.
When they are NOT running in the system, everything runs just fine.
But whey they are there, the big mystery begins.

All these problems I've been checking with several rt-kernels -
2.0.36rt9D, 2.0.36.RTL9K 2.0.36/37-ac5.RTL1.0
All behaves almost in the same way.

While searching for the bug these are some results I've discovered:

When "/var" partition is ReadOnly & syslogd/klogd is running
I can't log in - bash coredumps

with pure kernel2.2.2 everything is OK

When booting only without syslogd but with klogd
I can run my rt-task - but they behaves strange

When booting only with syslogd and without klogd
computer hangs

Does anyone seen similar problems???

I'm running Debian with sysklogd-1.3-31
(but I've tried even some previous version of these
daemos with same results)

First I though it might be some bug in syslogd,
but as with kernel2.2.2 everything runs just fine
(except rt-drivers of course) I suppose some problem
might be hidden in the rt-linux.

Maybe I use something what should not be present in the rt-kernel
for this case I'm appending my config file used to build rt-kernels
