It depends on what you want to do. I believe it is possible to just have a
/linuxrc file which can be a binary or a bash script. I guess you will need
some libraries and a loader, bash or ash, any of your own executables. You
will probably need a /dev directory if you plan on using any special device
files. I think /linuxrc is executed if the kernel can't find "init".
