There is from Epson a sytem called the CardPC. It is a full PC include RAM on
the module and there are also modules with Flash-Rom on it. 
It is as big as an credit card and between 5mm an 15mm high (depends on
CPU/RAM, cooling).
There are also some companies wich offer Evolution-Boards.
