In my mind there is no misinformation here. I have always associated the
terms RT-Linux, RTL etc with New Mexico (purely) RTAI with DIAPM. Both are
open source distributions unless someone can tell me different (and I've got
both).

True. The v2.2 CD (not out yet) has RTAI as the core.

True. The v1.1 CD has NMT RTL as the core
Stick with RTAI to refer to Paulo's efforts and RT-Linux or RTL for Victor's
and you cannot go far wrong. What I would like to see is a table of
equivalent API calls as when I converted a task from one system to the
other I had to make some changes to the code (obviously I was not using
a POSIX pthreads interface).
