Yea I think some of the thread missed the list because I wasn't paying
atttention to who my mailer was replying to
My original description went to the list on oct 6, so you I won't repeat it
here but under sufficient load
for FI in `find /usr/ -type f`; do
cat $FI >/dev/null
done
my user task was freezing up on a fifo read, usually in under a half hour.
Micheal Barabanov looked at it and sent a new version of rtl_fifo.c which looks
like it fixed it. I suspect there will be a beta 17 shortly, otherwise I can
forward his message.
