NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!
I hope that's clear. What some of us are trying to achieve is consensus
and comformity, even though the approaches to RTLinux and RTAI are different.
Choice is no bad thing. By creating two lists, you create two separate
camps that will end up NEVER talking to each other. Trust me: been there,
done that, screwed up ;-)
And in case anyone wants to point out that RTLinux and RTAI will never
achieve a common thread, I point out that the FIFOS package and MBUFF
are independent of both and no-one is screaming blue murder against them.
And, just in case anyone has an inkling that I am not truly impartial,
I have no interest (financial, academic or other) in FSMLabs, Lineo,
Zentropix, IBM, Microsoft ... blah blah blah.
So, let's stop the petty, peurile abuse and concentrate on issues and how
we can make this community, which has so much to offer, present a united
front to the outside world. After all, my Dad's bigger than your Dad.
Respectfully,
Cheesed Off of Tucson.
