Regardless of the version of tree we're based on it's the one we've found
to be stable and we're trying to not jump around with kernel versions.

I believe your interest is actually in getting the alpha PC to run RTLinux,
not using  particular kernel version (please correct me if I
misunderstand).  In that case, you may have some digging to do.  Our
current RTLinux/alpha work is with the tsunami chipset (DS10, DS20, DS40
and some others) but not the alpha PC.  Compaq is aiding us in our work on
the Alpha and they don't have much interest in Alpha PC.

That being said, if you have trouble on your machine and send us the
details of the problems we're happy to see if we can get you unstuck and
get RTLinux running on it.
