[rtl] DMA and Realtime

Hello everyone, 
I am a Linux newbie and am in need of a working example of a dma/interrupt
real-time example.  This topic was addressed in a mail message back in 1997
but I have been unable to locate the example.  Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
