I must confess that I added a stupid bug to the UDP code with release 0.6.2. Incoming UDP packets may be incorrectly queued into an arbitrary UDP socket if no one is listening on the destination port of that packet. Foremost broadcast messages can trigger this fault.
Please apply patch1 for version 0.6.2 available from the download page (http://www.rts.uni-hannover.de/rtnet/download.html) on your RTnet source directory and rebuild the binaries. This patch also fixes a minor problem during delayed socket cleanups.
