As hinted at before, this LiveCD seems ready to be turned into a real open
source project, in the sense that "third parties" such as RTnet can access
the sources more easily then now (i.e., from a CVS/SVN server instead of
from the CD; with the kexec stuff; etc.) , and contribute their project's
updates. In addition, the original project developers will have a much
easier job in coding appropriate test suites. And "someone" will probably
step up and add useful things such as the kexec and more fancy interfaces :-)

What do you think about that? What would be the necessary steps to make?

If the intention would be to enhance the existing LiveCD, then the effort is minimal. I'm
already using a Subversion tree to manage the changes so I would just have to make
the SVN server publicly accessibly.

If the intention would be to create other LiveCD's the effort for that part would be the
same, but since I would really like to get the results from these CD's in the database as well,
the database would require modifications (if new tests are added).

With friendly regards,
Takis
