We never tested such a setup of two NICs in the same PC and
cross-connected. I'm not sure what should happen, but there might be
some side-effects either due to principle problems with this scenario
(e.g. IP routing is designed to take the easy way: rt_loopback - should
be switched off!) or hidden bugs in RTnet. Specifically, I would like to
exclude the second case. Therefore, could you post your rtnet.conf files
and, if you modified the rtnet script for the second card, that file as
well?
